LA MATA

La Mata is a district north of Torrevieja, located next to protected areas. It is a hamlet belonging to Torrevieja. It borders Guardamar del Segura to the north and the Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja Natural Park to the west. It boasts several sandy beaches, the most important being Torrelamata beach due to its size.
